Las Vegas in June
Yes, me, the one who starts getting uncomfortable when the temperature rises above 65F/18C, went to Las Vegas last week. What on earth could drag me out to the scorching dessert in June? A double milestone birthday: my sister Kathy (??) and niece Tawnya (21) celebrated milestone birthdays this month. I was there for 2 nights and actually had a pretty good time (as long as I remained indoors where the a/c was always blasting due to the 109F/42C heat). My sister Vicky, niece Jessica and Kathy's best friend Terese were also in attendance.
